Dialogue remains one of the most important pillars for maintaining peace, understanding, and progress within any academic environment. In light of the recent developments concerning the suspended strike action, I wish to use this medium, on behalf of all students of Abdullahi Fodiyo University of Science and Technology, Aliero (AFUSTA), to sincerely recognize and appreciate the efforts of the Kebbi State Government, the University Pro-Chancellor, the Vice-Chancellor, the ASUU Chairman, and everyone concerned in ensuring that dialogue prevailed.
We deeply appreciate the commitment, maturity, and sense of responsibility demonstrated by all stakeholders in addressing the issues through constructive engagement and peaceful dialogue. Their collective efforts have helped safeguard the academic activities and welfare of students, while providing hope for a stable and uninterrupted academic environment.
As students, we value every effort made toward protecting our education and ensuring that academic activities continue without unnecessary disruption. We therefore commend all parties for prioritizing understanding, consultation, and the overall interest of the students and the institution.
